The Plague Doctor

A friend of a friend heard that I was making leather masks and asked if I could make a plague doctor mask for her. I replied that I would love to - I had been thinking about making one already for some time! It's such a fascinating character.

It did take me some time tu jump on the challenge, though - there were some new things there for me.

Sewn together from five pieces. The glasses are from old welding goggles she contributed.
In the background is the Turku cathedral - I thought it was an aproppriate place for a photoshoot.
